I had to make a phone call to a small US company about 6-10 months ago and
when I told them I was in Austraila they expressed suprise that I spoke
english so well. I thought that isolationism was defunct, but it does seem
alive and well over there. I also have been ignored totally after having a
delivery problem with a company (very recently) who short changed me on a
delivery, now they ignore my emails: guess I am too far away to be a bother.
They also seem to have changed their webpage and payment company. Apart from
amazon.com I am very wary now.
