Damian Golda commented on INFRA-50: ----------------------------------- My case: I found an error in pax web which actually was in pax swiss box. I've fix them, checked local build jar that's working. So I've commited changes and started waiting for snapshot jar in ops4j repo. The jar is needed by other people in my project. I could distribute jar builde by myself, but it would be complicated and error prone. So using ops4j repo is best solution. For me, snapshots may be deployed only by manual triggering but when I could trigger this also. I wouldn't like to send messages to Alin every time when such snapshot is needed. According to space usage: >From my point of view, after release all snapshots may be removed, because I >use released version or snapshot for currently developed one. It's not a problem to switch from snapshot to release when artifact is released. I think, mvn-nightly repo is not necessary. According to scp: I've suggested file: because in my enviroment I've found some nondeterministic problems with scp - most time works, but sometimes not. After switching to file (we use one host) it works perfect. For deploying while release I still use scp, because I perform release on my PC. I don't know how reliable is scpexe - maybe it's OK. > Setup Bamboo to deploy snapshots to http://repository.ops4j.org/mvn-snapshots > in On Change plans > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: INFRA-50 > URL: http://issues.ops4j.org/jira/browse/INFRA-50 > Project: Infrastructure > Issue Type: Task > Reporter: Damian Golda > Assignee: Alin Dreghiciu > > Especially for pax-swissbox, pax-web and pax-runner. > Or give another option for download "on change" build snapshots. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.ops4j.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira _______________________________________________ general mailing list general@lists.ops4j.org http://lists.ops4j.org/mailman/listinfo/general
