Well the one of the main differences is that the original Vapor version of
Genesis was a MUI proggie, whereas the OS 3.9 version is ReAction. Some
people hate MUI, who knows why, others hate ReAction, who cares? Besides
this... apparently there was a large legal fandangle between the programmer
of the Vapor Genesis who wasn't fully paid (?) and Vapor who claimed there
was a bug in the ppp.device (?)... I'm not gonna touch that one except to say
that the matter was apparently happily resolved by H&P who bought the rights
and got the fellow to fix the bug IIRC.
So all things considered I'd say go with the 3.9 Genesis; aside from being
free, it's got much better karma. :-D
