Vapor had nothing to do with Genesis then, or at any time. It had been
available for download from there only because of Vapor's distribution
of Active products. It had been removed long before Active disppeared
because of disputes over appp.device, which had nothing to do with
and no similarity to AmiTCP/IP disputes that H&P ran into.

Yes, and there were other front ends for AmiTCP/IP which are still on
Aminet.Genesis adds nothing to AmiTCP/IP except ease of use. Someone
familiar with AmiTCP/IP (or networking in general) in general could
easily do one with GUI4CLI.

I agree. MUI does everything a GUI system should do and does it well.
It became fashionable to slag MUI off some years ago when people found
it was difficult to get decent performance from an A1200/'020 with
2MB of RAM. Bleating started and sheep followed.
I was disappointed by the curious decision to use RA as GUI system for
WB3.5 and 3.9 utilities when MUI was already the defacto standard for
Amiga software.
