Good Morning Wuqi: What version of the hgTrackDb program are you using ? The substitution of these variables take place at the time that hgTrackDb is run to load your trackDb table. This problem should have nothing to do with the version of MySQL you use. Verify your hgTrackDb program is up to date and rebuild your trackDb tables.
