Hi Mary and Hiram, We have 2 UCSC genome browser mirror sites(one for internal, another for public: http://genome.gis.a-star.edu.sg/) , it has been working for many years. Also we uploaded our data to build permanent track, composite track and matrix track.
Now we want to build a track like "Roadmap Integrative Epigenomes Tracks", it is in site: http://www.epigenomebrowser.org/cgi-bin/hgTracks?hgsid=5198&clade=mammal&org=Human&db=hg19&position=chr21%3A33%2C031%2C597-33%2C041%2C570&hgt.suggest=&pix=800&Submit=submit this track has 3 layers (see attachment), but I do not know how to configuration such a track. Please give me some advice Thanks & Regards Wuqi From: Mary Goldman [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2011 6:42 AM To: WANG Wuqi Cc: 'Hiram Clawson'; '[email protected]' Subject: Re: [Genome] How to configure a special track like "Roadmap Integrative Epigenomes Tracks" Hi Wugi, Unfortunately, we are not sure when this will be a feature of custom tracks. It is possible to add this to a track if you are creating one on a mirror. For more information on that please see this previously answered mailing list question: https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/pipermail/genome-mirror/2010-July/001971.html More information about building a mirror from the source code (http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/admin/jksrc.zip) can be found here: http://genome.ucsc.edu/admin/jk-install.html I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to contact the mail list again if you require further assistance.
