Unfortunately the "I did not hear any person have problems" or "me and my friends have used successfully for a longer time" is not enough. We cannot trust on the stability of 2.6 really well until it has been out for about 2 months. (This is the same way Linus & co look at it). > And there are many testers i think. Gentoo sources is an enhanced kernel version that aims to provide more features and higher performance than the vanilla sources. One could say that vanilla sources is more conservative.
