A short time ago I posted cron.eclass for review. In that email I mentioned
that it provides a dopamd() function.

At the time, I thought it would be better implemented as a portage builtin like
doenvd for example, but as ciaranm informed me, we are trying to break those
out and into eclasses (eutils would be my guess).

I'd just like to get it out of cron.eclass since there are currently 156
ebuilds that "insinto /etc/pam.d" and could use it.

Does everyone agree on eutils?
