xconfig exited with 139
The i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc after -C ac should be in quotes (same
for -F if gfortran) I believe; otherwise the xconfig will choke.
I had this happen in the past but I don't recall at the moment
what the problem was. I'll have a look at it, and hopefully can
move 3.7.37 into the main tree soon, so more people get to test
it before 3.8.0 drops.
