Hi
I have a little problem with my home server. I cant connect to my ftp
server from the outside. I usually use a anonymous vsftpd or
proftpd server. Since my
computer broke and i bought a new motherboard and cpu and newly
installed gentoo system, i can't connect to my ftp server from the
outside, only from my own lan.
Have you seen which interface and ip your ftpd is listening to? Some
ftpd's need to be setup to listen to a specific device and ip,
otherwise only bing to localhost, or local network ip's.
