Hello everyone, Some weeks ago I've installed three mail servers (qmail+vpopmail+mysql+clamav+spamassassin) by gentoo Virtual Mail Hosting System Guide http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/qmail-howto.xml. Everything work fine except one detail which is very importnat to me:
I can not send mail from mail clients through my SMTP using plain SMTP-AUTH. But if I'm doing the same thing with TLS, then everything is ok. Somewhere in Internet I read that this is a bug which exist only if you are using Outlook 2003 or Outlook Express v6, but I get the same problem with The_Bat!. The worst thing for me that I need working SMTP-AUTH without TLS. I've already spend much time for googling and other steps for trying to solve that problem, but failed. May be someone there already solve that that problem and could share the solution? Or just gives me a hint? I'd be very appreciated.
