Followed the instructions to the letter. Using dchcpd it easily connected to the winmodem in my XP box, over the eth0.
Everything installed and comppiled fine. I emerged gnome, Xwindows, mc, diald, wvdial, ppp, pppd, pppconfig
Everythings great. No errors.
This is what I WANT to do.
Tell the gentoo box to use it's own modem on ttyS0 instead of the one at the end of the eth0.
I'm only slightly familiar with Linux(RedHat) So I realy don't know where to do this.
Once I can connect to net with my gentoo modem the install will be complete.
So what commands or what configuration prog should I emerge ?
