Since that is the one pointed to by ".kde -> .kde3.1"? If so that is confusing still since those on the KDE mailing list are telling me that KDE uses the .kde3 directory and NOT the .kde3.1. Seems that most of this various versions directories are a result of Gentoo related stuff. Can someone clarify for me which directory is for what? I would really appreciate it. The KDE mailing list is clueless about these various directories and symbolic links too (at least the one's I have been in contact with).
