Custom sets like @myworld also offer the opportunity to add comments in the set file about why you needed to emerge this package, just like you can do in .accept_keywords, .use or .mask files. This is quite useful when you do you maintenance cleaning and wonder if one package is really still used and if unmerging it would break anything.
