I have NT 4.0 SP3 and 2 hard disk 2Gb and 4Gb, the partition are one of 1 GB
identified C for software, and other D 5 GB for data. Unit C had 350 MB free
and unit D 170 Mb free. I installed Easy CD Creator de Luxe for backing up
data on a CD Yamaha. I start the program with option test first and write
after testing, the testing was successfull but when start to write it showed
messages about the files were not in the addresses. The execution was
finished and looked for the files that were not there, I surprised because
the files were there but I could not see them, the message was a problem
with pagination. Restart the PC and finally could see the files and could
breath. But the free space in unit C was reduce to 170 Mb, my question is:
What happend that reduced the free space on unit C, from 350 to 170?
I did not notice before a file named pagefile.sys very big, the size in y PC
is 142 MB. I suppesed this file is important.
