When using version 8 of the USGS GXs, make sure you don't have any old usgs_* files in gx and bin directories under \Program Files (x86)\Geosoft\Oasis montaj\. All usgs_* files should be in the gx and bin directories under \Program Files (x86)\Geosoft\Oasis montaj\resourcefiles.
