I am having trouble opening the files generated when I export a map from Target.
The image file size is very big (much bigger than what is generated with other software I have used). I am getting bmp files in the order of 400,000 KB and if I select JPG format it reduces to 22,000 KB. I want to be able to reduce the file sizes so I can email (and also so they don't take up so much hard drive space). I can open all files with Windows Photo Viewer but can't use this software to reduce the file size. I seem to be able to open the odd file with Paint but generally get an error message saying "it is not a valid file or its format is not currently supported". I have the same problem with other programs. Any ideas?
