(anything other than critical bug fixes, > that is) Well I have reservations. We are still in qa and bug fix mode. Last time I tried to call a freeze in this way people weren't too happy for having to freeze for so long. And since I can't guarantee that no more issues will come up I can't guarantee that we will be ready to create the release tag soon. But yes, I can ask for a freeze. Perhaps for geotools we are ready to create the release tag for 2.5.2 and work from there. Although I have not yet even discussed the 2.5.2 release on the geotools lists. So how about we proceed as follows: 1. ask for a freeze on geoserver until Monday... I think we will probably be able to create the release tag by then (fingers crossed) 2. ask for permission to release gt 2.5.2 and create the release tag, updating the 1.7.x branch to work against it Thoughts? > - Gabriel, the changes that might affect the WFS module > seem to be at r31848, 31949, related to > "GEOT-2191 backport fixes on ows and wfs emf models" > I'd suggest to have them reviewed or revert them > for the time being? > > If you have already done a peer review and the changes > are considered ok please accept my apologies, I'm just > trying to make sure the 1.7.1 release is going to be solid. > > Cheers > Andrea > -- Justin Deoliveira OpenGeo - http://opengeo.org Enterprise support for open source geospatial. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Geoserver-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-devel
