Dear Andrea,
Thank you for the idea. I though GeoServer can treat GeoJson just like it
treats Shapefiles. I didn't get why it is slow if the GeoJson is served as
WMS.
My Rest API is already serving data as GeoJson from PostGIS database. The
reason I don't want to use PostGIS store is because it will require to
directly connect to the database. This is not feasible if there are
external users of my Rest API.
I felt that if GeoServer can handle all those complex data format, GeoJson
is the easiest. I believe it will be very popular as it will bridge the gap
between Other Rest APIs and GeoServer.
