That's merely because the link changed for the first time in over a
decade. We can easily search and replace those with

http://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/lgpl-2.1.txt

then one day we can grab a cup of tea, and discuss the pros and cons of
v3 and waste a lot of time to reach a consensus that we want to search
and replace the link back in.
