Just to make sure: my later proposal was only that, a proposal. If peoples said
"no", thats fine.
Also if Mercurial is not wanted neither, SVN 1.5 may be okay (need to be
verified). It is just that if we want to work on GeoTools 2 and merge some work
to GeoTools 3, we will need a more elaborate merge mechanism than pre-1.5 SVN.
When I said that Geomatys would work on GeoTools 3 one year before it become
usable to other, I do not mean to be exclusive. It is just that I envision that
other contributors will feel more concerned when we would reach Feature,
Filter,
etc. As long as we hack referencing, contributors are welcome if they wish but

just don't expect many.
