I would be okay with trying a different management strategy; consensus amung
module maintainers would be nice for example. We do have an obligation to
the OSGeo to have a committee representative that can be contacted; other
than that we can be flexible.
You call for though on roll and participation will take some thinking on my
part before I reply. Much like the geotidy project I would like to be able
to take more decisive action (in terms of scope and code bloat) then we can
other the present arrangement. I am however pleased with how transparent our
process is in terms of change procedures and the adoption of new unsupported
modules.
