Previously I caused some concern by leaving only 12 days between starting
discussion and finishing up a proposal.
In this case the proposal is falling out of a prexisting bug hunt and has a
patch in hand. As such I would like to commit promptly, indeed this is support
of getting a useful function list for the documentation.
