ps: no way does Cingular let Apple throw a VOIP client on the iPhone - that's gotta be part of this deal. i can't see Cingular putting themselves at risk to cannibalize their voice minutes by offering a solution that also sucks up all their bandwidth.
This one of the reasons I can't see this phone/package taking off certainly in the UK. When you have flat rate internet deals on fast 3G networks (AFAIK there's only one 2.5G (EDGE) network - Orange - in the UK, the rest went straight to 3G), with at least one network bundling Skype and free VOIP minutes + a free Nokia or SE phone (http://www.three.co.uk/xseries/index.omp), the iPhone has got some very, very tough competition.
