As it is genetically a yellow nutmeg the name Saffron did seem neat to
some people. Certainly Saffron makes it clear it is a yellow gerbil.
Argente technically means that there is a silver element to the hair.
Argente Nutmegs do not have that, and they don't look anything like
nutmegs.
Personally I would like to see Saffron given a chance as it is far
better descriptively than the alternatives and it is an attractive name.
