If he seems that bad, take him to the vet.
At least stop his suffering if anything,

jeez, I wish Bill were around. A couple of months ago someone was in a
similar predicament and Bill was trying to find if there were was to
euthenize (Sp.?) at home when a vet was not possible. I wonder if he was
able to come up with anything?
