To be honest, I don't really want to stop people copying material for
reference purposes, or, where properly credited, for educational
purposes. I regularly agree to allow people to use material to be used
in those ways.

What I don't want is for my material, and material others have licensed
me to use, to be published by third parties, whether on the web, or in
other forms.

Which e-mails were these? I have seen one or two follow ups to what I
wrote.

I understand the problem, which is why I tried deliberately not to be to
chastising. However, I had no way of knowing the age or maturity of the
person. I had reservations seeing whet their site said, but some of it
was sophisticated and although I guessed it may all be stolen form other
sites, I initially thought that the author had written everything that
was not mine. I deliberately posted here because I eventually, after
reading several pages, realised that this may not be the case.

I would like to say that the person concerned responded in a very prompt
and mature way as soon as they realised there was a problem, and they
can take a lot of credit for that.
