I recall seeing one of these wheels in use at a local PetSmart. They had one in a
gerbil cage and one in a hamster cage (I believe). Anyway, I don't remember exactly
how far the gerbils had managed to run, but it was quite a bit. It's a neat little
wheel... I've been trying to talk Kevin into getting one for one of our gerbil groups
(since it's the only group with anyone that likes to run), but he hasn't given in
yet...
As for how to rig a normal wheel, I haven't a clue...
