A debate about shipping -gerbils- is pretty appropriate on a -gerbil-
mailing list which has a bunch of gerbil breeders and people who ship
gerbils.  Debates will come up on mailing lists that you might not
be interested in.  If you're not interested, skip the messages.

It is against postal regulations, however, which may be illegal, since
the post office is part of the federal government.
