Yes. Some mothers are more skittish. :) If I have a
nervous nellie mom, I move the cage to a quieter
place and after a few days she seems to be doing
ok. First time mothers are more likely to do this.
Or if the male is bothering her a lot that first day
trying to re-breed her....that will also cause it.
