Cats, ferrets, other carnivores. I just recently started the cats on a raw
diet (mostly chicken necks, wings, ground chicken slop with veggies, organ
meats, etc). One popular item for other raw feeders is frozen day-old
chicks, rabbits and frozen rodents. I haven't yet gotten the nerve to buy a
frozen rodent for my carnivores, but will eventually. Currently I am too
sensitive to the ratties and gerbils who live in my house. But, let's face
it, a rodent is a perfectly balanced meal for a cat.
Considering that selling live rodents as snake food is illegal is some
countries, snake owners in some places have to teach the snakes to eat
already killed food.
Hope that answers your inquiry!
