Nothing wrong with that,  and I am moving (I say moving,  cause I
still eat meat like once a month)  towards a vegetarian life style,
of the vegan nature.  No dairy for me, but I do drink about a quart of
soy milk a day.  Buy my point is plants are life too.

I could never own a snake cause I don't think I could watch them eat
their prey that would upset me.

I've been a vegetarian for most of my life (hippie mom), mainly 'cause I
don't like meat and believe (No, I'm not a zealot, I'm not looking to
convert, so no flames please) that humans are not physiologically intended to
eat meat (wrong teeth, no naturally occurring enzymes, etc), but I gotta say
that I am fascinated by those animals who do eat other animals to survive.
Watching a snake feed is actually pretty darned cool.  I also love the
Discovery Channel.  Call it a guilty pleasure if you will, but I'm fascinated
by all life and its functions.  So, maybe frozen critters is cheating (it's
certainly less interesting), but keeping a snake in captivity is already
disrupting the natural order, as well as not even remotely the most
disruptive thing that people have done to the ecology, so who's to say. . .
