I totally agree with Sarah and Susanne!
If you can't afford proper veterinary care for an animal- any animal-
especially the final visit to end its life with some dignity, then you
absolutely should not have animals!
Please do not attempt to kill it yourself- although it may seem like a good
idea to you, as a person with no veterinary training you have no idea the
kind of pain or suffering one of your "humane" homemade methods may
inadvertently inflict on the animal.
