Hi, It's very difficult to pair two adult females and not usually recommended (now that I've said that I'm sure there will be some disagreement!) :-) What I would do is get an aquarium divider at the fish store.  Go to the hardware store and buy some small mesh hardware cloth and get it cut to the size of the tank divider making sure of a snug fit inside the tank, duct tape over the edges and slide that into the braces that come with the divider kit.  Then it fits nicely into the tank.  There are two metal clips that hold it in place.  This way you can pair the two females but they won't be able to maul each other should they have a bad day! ;-) Who knows, after awhile they may even like each other (but I wouldn't count on it)! My baby Kandy~ going on 1, small runt sweetheart, got her by herself, never been with any one of my gerbies.   **Also I have another question: My 4 yrs old gerbil, Rebbie's eye gets stuck shut once in a while...
