There are several reasons why this is important for posters to realize
(incidentally, yours are posts that show up blank on my screen due to
html).

Some people pay per minute to download messages- html messages, fancy fonts
and such can take longer to download and thus cost people more money.

If you are posting with a serious question or emergency, don't you want
everyone to be able to read your message and respond as quickly as
possible? I have noticed that several of the people who have commented on
not being able to read the messages are some of the true veteran
listmembers who have a great deal of experience and some a veterinary
background. In an emergency situation, these people could give you advice
to save your gerbils life- but not if they can't read your message.

First of all, I'm sick of all this mail reading "Write bigger, no colors, I
can't read HTML."
This is about gerbils people, c'mon. Stop making a fight about all this!
This
is supposed to be fun, and educational for some people!
I'm learning a lot from al this so please stop with the nonsense.!
