It's not an official thing or anything, but yes
most breeders seem to use the word "Clan" in the name of their "kennel" (for
lack of a better word). The first breeder to do this was "The Dani Clan" (me)
back in 1997, I guess it caught on.
Which reminds me, I have a sad announcement. My mom
has been taking care of my 5 gerbils, and she emailed me the other day that the
oldest one, Ashwin (my 3 yo colorpoint slate) passed away. I rather expected
that as he wasn't looking well when I left for school, that's why he wasn't
placed with anyone =(
However my 4 white gerbs are doing
fine.
