I gave my gerbils a clan name without realizing it,
before I even knew clan names existed. It just
happened when I named their website The Spice Gerbils.
Now that is their clan name even though it doesn't
include the word clan. I guess they aren't really a
clan yet until they have offspring though?

Sorry to hear about Ashwin. But at least, from your
website it seems he had a long wonderful happy life
with you.

How did you choose the name Dani Clan, or did I miss
reading that somewhere on your site?
