This and my previous post prove that the blips can occur even when no
errors appear to occur in the download, and that, unlike some other
errors such as 'busy' pictures breaking up into squares, they happen
during user downloading of a programme rather than during BBC processing
to record/set up said programme on the servers.
I've been wondering if the BBC have changed their outward facing 'cloud
bases' server arrangements in anticipation of the Lumpits increasing the
demand. And that these changes are the cause of some of the problems.

I've compared faulty HLSHD downloads with FLASHHD and in some cases
there is as much as 30 seconds difference in a one hour programme. I
rarely use BBC iPlayer but do we know if that has the sync problems
we've been experiencing on GiP downloads?
