Hi Paul, Thanks for the reply, I did know about the --pid-recursive option and that was how I was intending to record it tonight, but I am still puzzled why the keyword porridge doesn't work.
The reason being that years ago I automated my get_iplayer downloading with a batch file running each night from windows task scheduler, this batch file reads a text file with a list of anything that I might want to download by keywords (sorry I know this was probably re-inventing the wheel), but one advantage for me is that for instance if a new series of something that I usually record comes along, it should pick it up and download it without me having to keep track of the TV schedules. In this case I already had porridge in my list as I had previously been recording the remake when it was available ( I think about 6 months ago, maybe longer), but was only by chance that I noticed that the original series were now available, but my nightly recording procedure had failed to pickup that it was available. This makes me wonder if there are any other programs that I have missed over the months because I haven't been keeping an eye on what is being broadcast.
