Yes, that's what I meant, the type 1 versions of the CM fonts.

The smallest PDF is generated by dvipdfm, around 800kB. I've looked into the
texi2dvi --pdf output, and apparently all the many links it creates are
taking up the additional space (each PDF link is an object of its own, and
breaks up the surrounding text).

I'm thinking about creating yet another gforth-0.6.2.exe, this time with PDF
instead of PostScript. The Windoze users rarely can use PostScript (they
can't even simply send it to the printer), so a PDF would allow them to print
it as intented. I don't feel sorry about them when they need to wait longer
for their downloads, anyway ;-).

Hm, the bitmaps look a tiny bit darker on the screen, and only if the printer
has no higher resolution than 600dpi, there is no difference.

Martin Randy's way of automatically blocking any suspected spam sender (so
that complaining doesn't help) makes sure that all freemailer users will be
blocked on the long run. This is barely tolerable for a mailing list hoster,
especially, since ezmlm allows only authorized posting, anyway. Since he uses
the same domain for his address, too, complaining is quite difficult, too (I
can complain from work, but since I've already done that, it doesn't seem to
help).
