I'd suggest writing down somewhere all the things we could do with multiple layers selection (like locking from transformation and/or painting, or maybe adding alpha channels to multiple layers). Having a more ore less complete list of use cases would help. The wiki at gui.gimp.org could be just the place for that. Alex
