[Gimp-user] Two Questions...

Hello,

I've been using GIMP for a while now, and I'm starting to liken to the 1.3.x line.

I have two questions that people here may be capable of answering:

1) When will 1.3 be put into stable?
2) Has anyone ever considered making GIMP into a single-window interface with MDI and children windows? An annoyance of GIMP is how it takes so many windows and shows up in the task list when alt-tabbing.
