Hello, out of the solutions provided by the Stack Overflow article (mentioned by Thomas), I would definitely choose git-bundle. That is the safest way, as the only thing you will need to know is the last commit you have in the other repository. See , the EXAMPLES section holds some good, well, examples.
If that way is a no-go for you, I would stick with rsyncing a bare repository instead. https://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/git-bundle.html On 26 Aug 2013 09:08, "shirish शिरीष" <shirisha...@gmail.com> wrote: > @Thomas Ferris Nicolaisen thank you for the prompt reply. > > I read the link about rsync (actually had read that a while back) but > couldn't get around as to how to do it. > > Should I be doing > > ~/games/flare-game$ rsync https://github.com/clintbellanger/flare-game . > > or some other way ? > > ~/games/flare-game$ rsync https://github.com/clintbellanger/flare-game/git. > > Also what do I do when my network times out .
