@Thomas Ferris Nicolaisen thank you for the prompt reply. I read the link about rsync (actually had read that a while back) but couldn't get around as to how to do it.
Should I be doing ~/games/flare-game$ rsync https://github.com/clintbellanger/flare-game . or some other way ? ~/games/flare-game$ rsync https://github.com/clintbellanger/flare-game/git . Also what do I do when my network times out . I tried searching the interwebs but came up empty. I have used wget for individual files which has this option -c (to continue) and I can download an individual file but dunno if there is a way to do the same in rsync ? Also how do I tell rsync to recursively download stuff because the repo. has a mix of directories and files. Lastly, isn't rsync supposed to be deprecated on github.com or it isn't ? -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com 065C 6D79 A68C E7EA 52B3 8D70 950D 53FB 729A 8B17 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Git for human beings" group.
