Hello, your best bet for this type of problem is to open https://packages.debian.org/ and search for the files the compiler is missing (this time, zlib.h; I bet you will find the package zlib1g-dev). When you find it, install it with apt: apt-get install zlib1g-dev.
Moving the openssl libs around was also a bad idea, as for that you just had to install the openssl-dev (or something like that) package.
