If you are willing to contribute to this repository, you don't have to participate in GSoC, just go ahead and submit a PR. I'm quite confused. So we just have to make pyarrow to support broadcasting. And make a good PR. Which would satisfy the GSOC goals. Since I would like to contribute, I can just submit a PR?
