You mean to keep the function definition like this:

) -> ArrayRef
where
StringArrType: StringArrayType<'a>,
{ ... }
```
and then call it like this:
```
self.digest_utf8_array_impl::<&GenericStringArray<T>>(&v)
```
…but the Rust compiler still complains and doesn’t accept it.
