Well, I regret having to say this, but it's clumsy :)

In German most sentences with "etwas .. [machen|tun]" (to [make|do] something ...) are
regarded clusmy style -- Children would use it :)

The actual wording you seem to be proposing is "leeren", which has a similar meaning as
"to clear", but it associates to empty a container, eg. "Den Mülleimer leeren" (to
empty
the trashcan), "eine Flasche/ein Glass leeren" (to empty a bottle / a glass), therefore
it is more similar to "to empty" (In case this word exists in English) than to "to
clear".

I was refering to the Delete and Clear buttons on the Properties->Signal notebook page
in glade.

While the Delete button deletes/removes a signal previously being selected from a CList
on that page,
the Clear button clears/deletes the current entries of a signal being inserted into a
couple of GtkEntries.

IMO, even relabeling the "Delete" button with "Remove" in the English version would
give
sense, but native English speakers might know better than me.

I think, I'll submit a patch to Damon to get this case closed.
