Might it be an idea to wait for the Haskell' discussions first -
differences between Haskell compilers are a particular pain for users
(like me) who flip between Hugs, Yhc and GHC a lot.
If this bug is being closed, I'd like a bug to be opened in Hugs and Yhc
to follow GHC's behaviour (as GHC is close to being a de-facto standard on
these things).
