Got an email from Zenni this morning saying they cannot make progressives in my prescription, and asking me to change the order to single vision glasses for either reading or distance. I asked them to cancel the order and issue a refund to my credit card. I suspected this would happen, but I think this is another area where Zenni needs to update its website. Their ordering system needs to be revised to prevent you from being able to order items that are not an option for you.
I probably will select another frame (I'm not fond of most of their multi-focal lens frames and didn't want the one I selected if I had to get single vision lenses) and place an order for reading glasses, but does anyone know of an on-line place that makes strong (-13) progressive lenses at a reasonable price? (If the on-line price is several hundred dollars, I'm better off going to a local B&M store where I can try on the frames.)
